What is Dial a CFO (Dial)?

Dial a CFO (Dial) is a collective of commercial executives (Associates) that provide expertise to Clients direct on a flexible “pay as you go” basis.  Our team encompass Business Analysts through to Financial Controllers, Chief Financial Officers (CFOs) and Non-executive Board Directors, all with significant commercial experience gained in the corporate sector.

 

We work across all sizes of organisation  and recognise that medium size businesses  face similar challenges to large corporates but usually without the same support framework of their larger counterparts. Dial a CFO can bridge this gap by providing resource with the right level of skills and experience, as and when required, at a transparent and competitive price.

 

Dial offers a “switch on / switch off” service which is quite unique.  This enables a Client to purchase whatever skill-set they need for as long as they need it.

We are Kiwi owned and operated and while our Associates are mainly in Auckland, our service offering is national and we have a growing presence throughout provincial New Zealand, including the Canterbury region.

How do I engage a Dial Associate?

• You call or email Dial a CFO specifying the nature of the engagement and the skill-set you require. 
• One of our Leadership Team will clarify your requirements, review and match available Associates against your requirements and then present a short-list of Associate profiles. 
• You review profiles and meet one or more Associates that best suit your requirements.
• You select an Associate, negotiate terms either directly with the Associate or with Dial a CFO's assistance, then sign a contract between you and the Associate.
• Dial charges you an engagement fee which is fixed and transparent so you know what you pay and how it is calculated. This fee is usually spread over the assignment.  
• The Associate commences the engagement, billing you directly. The Associate is managed directly by you in the same manner as if they were an employee.
• The Dial Principal works with you and the Associate throughout the engagement to ensure objectives are being met.

 

It is important the fit is right both for Client and Associate. If it isn't, the Dial Principal will assist in dissolving the relationship, re-defining the requirements and sourcing an alternative Associate.  Any costs in doing this are covered by the original engagement fee.
